A Home for Hosting

House of Boards exists for gatherings that matter.
We design serving boards that turn food into a shared experience and hosting into a ritual.

Now Imagine Every Gathering Elevated.

Hosting in India has always been warm, generous and abundant.
But the objects around it never evolved.
Either disposable or decorative, rarely designed for real use.
We built House of Boards to create pieces meant to be used, passed around, and remembered.

Not Tableware. A Social Object.

A board is never the center of the table.
The people around it are.
Our role is simple — make sharing effortless and beautiful.

The Founder’s Perspective

House of Boards was founded by Raajveer Chomal, a product designer drawn to objects that live with people, not around them. Each piece is shaped with the intention that it remains part of the table for years, not seasons.

We work with East Indian Walnut for its durability, depth and the character it gathers over time. To preserve that character, the care ritual was designed as part of the product itself rather than an accessory. Maintenance allows the board to mature gracefully and continue to feel personal with use.

The goal is to encourage a more thoughtful culture of hosting in India, where what we serve on is valued as much as what we serve, and where pieces are kept, cared for and eventually passed on.
